There is no job to apply for today. There will be. If you want to be involved before then, tell us who you are below, and when the door opens, you'll already be in the room.
An AI on the person's side, never working on them. Today that's Anren: a place to make your life what you want it to be, where what it learns about you belongs to you. Tomorrow it's an online self you own outright, carried to any AI you choose, one day living on your own devices.
The whole picture, with the future parts in the future tense, is on Where this is going. If that page makes you want to argue with it, you're probably our kind of person.
Not job descriptions. Shapes. If one of these is you, we'd like to know you exist before we need you.
Full-stack, comfortable with a modern web and native stack, and with a real opinion about consent, custody, and what should never leave a server. You'd rather ship something true than something impressive.
Anren is deep, and it has to be understood in one read by someone who has never done inner work. You make the hard thing feel simple without making it shallow, and you'd fight for the restraint.
A clinician, a researcher, a practitioner. Anren holds people in moments of real openness. We want people who've spent their careers in that room, with the judgment to say what should and shouldn't be done with it.
You already know what a held self is, you have opinions about custody and protocols, and you'd rather adopt an open standard than invent one. You want the people to own the holding.
We say what's built in the present tense and what isn't in the future tense, on the site and in the room. Every decision has to protect the person's data and the way Anren works; both are the whole company. The person's data is theirs: export, deletion, and plain-words access stay whole, always. The method is ours, and anyone who sees it signs a confidentiality agreement first. Safety overrides everything. And the standing question on every piece of work is the same one Anren asks a person: does this build trust, or burn it?
We measure outcomes, not usage. Growth that would embarrass the thing it's selling isn't growth. No ads, no dark patterns, no engineered urgency, here or in the app.
A paragraph is plenty: what you'd build, and what you'd refuse to. We read every one, and we'll tell you honestly where things stand. Sending opens an email to support@anren.ai with your note in it.
