Write to us and a person reads it. The answers to the most common questions are below too: signing in, installing the beta, your data, and your plan.
In the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time, day or night — or call 911 if you or someone else is in immediate danger. In the UK, call 116 123 (Samaritans). Anywhere else, findahelpline.com lists free, confidential help in your country. The crisis lines Anren points to are free, and you never need Anren to reach them. How Anren responds in a crisis ›
Two addresses. A person reads both.
For anything about using Anren: signing in, installing it, your plan, or something that isn't working or doesn't feel right.
For a copy of what Anren holds about you, a correction, or deleting it. Write from the email you use for Anren, so we know it's you. If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, say so, and we'll find another way to confirm it's you.
It helps to include the email you use for Anren (or say that you sign in with Apple or Google), and, if something isn't working, what you did, what happened, and which iPhone you have. Please don't send your sign-in code. We never ask for it.
Right now the person who reads your message is Faolan, the founder. We usually reply within two working days.
Sign in the same way you signed up: Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or Email me a code. If you're waiting on a code, check your spam folder, then ask for a new one. If you signed up with Apple and chose to hide your email, your account is under the private address Apple made for you, so choose Continue with Apple again. Still stuck? Write to support@anren.ai from the email you signed up with.
Anren's beta comes through TestFlight, Apple's app for betas. Once you have your invitation, get TestFlight from the App Store, open the invitation inside it, and install Anren. Apple's beta versions stop opening after 90 days, so if Anren won't open, open TestFlight and install the newest version. Not invited yet? Ask to join ›
In Anren, open Settings, then Your data, and download a readable copy. It's yours, whether you're paying or not. For anything the download doesn't include, write to privacy@anren.ai.
In Anren, open Settings, then Your data. Deleting asks you to type a word first, as a check that you mean it. If you can't get into the app, write to privacy@anren.ai from the email you signed up with, and we'll do it for you. If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, say so, and we'll find another way to confirm it's you. How deletion works, backups included, is on Your data & trust and in the privacy policy.
The beta is free today. Plans are monthly, and you can see, change or cancel yours in Anren under Settings, then Plan & billing. The details, refunds included, are in the Terms. The crisis resources in the app are free.
Close Anren fully and open it again, and check TestFlight for a newer version. If it still isn't right, write to support@anren.ai with what you did, what happened, and which iPhone you have. A screenshot helps; leave out anything private you'd rather we didn't see.
